How to place an order on Lighter.net.au

Placing an online order is a simple and secure process. To place an order, please follow these steps:

1. Browse the website and add any items you wish to purchase by specifying the quantity and clicking 'Add to Cart'.
2. After you have added the last item you wish to purchase click 'Checkout' in the 'Shopping Cart' page.
3. Log in to your existing account or create a new account.
4. Enter the shipping address.
5. Select the payment type of PayPal or Credit Card - both are processed using the PayPal punctionality.
6. Review the order details and click 'Submit', This will process your order to the PayPal store landing page.
7. Log into PayPal or place your credit card information here, ensure the order details are correct, the click 'Submit'

After the order and payment details have been submitted, you will be sent a confirmation email. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a further email notifying you that the ordered has been fulfilled and sent.

Do we accept backorders?

Most of our products are in stock. However, we do allow backorders for items that are not in stock and must be specially ordered. Please note, delays of up to 4 weeks can be experienced when placing a backorder.

If you place an order with some items in stock and some on backorder, your entire order will not be shipped until the backordered items have arrived and are ready to be shipped.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Orders can be cancelled or changed if they have not been shipped. How can I check the status of my order online?

Using your username and and password you can login to your account then click 'Account Maintenance', under shipping information you can see the order information including the order status. If your payment was not processed correctly you can click the 'View' button and pay for the prodyc again using the PayPal button.

We prefer MasterCard, Visa or PayPal. All of our online payment methods are encrypted with the highest level of security.

How do I pay with PayPal?

You will be transferred directly to your PayPal account once your order details are confirmed. PayPal payments can be in the form of credit cards, your PayPal account balance, or a bank account linked directly to your PayPal account.

When is my credit card charged?

When you place an order using a credit card, the total dollar amount is authorised by your credit card company at the time of your purchase. Once this amount is authorised, your credit card will be debited the total amount of the order and the funds held in a secure authorised funds account. The order is then processed and fully billed when it is shipped from our warehouse. At this point, the funds held in the authorised funds account are transferred to our merchant account.

If you place an order and change your mind before the order is shipped, the order can be cancelled and the funds held in the authorised funds account will automatically expire after 7 days and be refunded to your credit card. This is standard practice for most online retailers.

If your credit card is declined when placing an order then your order is automatically cancelled.
